• Saksham Memorial scholarship

AICTE is implementing a Ministry of Education scheme to encourage and support specially-abled children to pursue technical education. Scholarship/contingency is awarded to differently-abled students pursuing a degree or diploma at an AICTE-approved technical institution. Every year, an incidental scholarship of Rs 50,000 is awarded.

• Pragati fellowship

AICTE is implementing a Ministry of Education scheme to encourage and support female students to pursue technical education. Scholarship/Contingency is given to deserving female students pursuing a degree or diploma at AICTE-approved technical institutions. Each year, 10,000 scholarships worth Rs 50,000 are awarded as incidentals.

• Scholarship for postgraduate studies

AICTE offers full-time GATE-qualified students admitted to M.Tech courses in AICTE-approved institutions/colleges a scholarship of Rs 12,400 per student.

• The Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Programme (PMSSP)

The scheme's goal is to build capacities in the youth of J&K, to educate, enable, and empower them to compete in the ordinary course, and enhance and boost employment potentials in J&K students.
